South Africa rolled out ten improvements to their team at the start of the rugby championship against Argentina on Saturday in Nelson Mandela Bay. Joseph Dweba making his debut and players who haven't played against the British & Irish Lions. 


Coach Jacques Nienaber says they don't want to make Argentina disrespectful with the changes they make to the team that won the Lions Series 2-1, but with five friendlies matches over successive weekends. There are worries about the health of the players,  South Africa didn't play for 20 months after their 2019 World Cup victory. 


Nienaber said, "It's a big season, so we must tackle the players well and spin our squad to make sure everybody gets enough playing time and rest.


We are happy to see some players get the chance to show their skills against a tough Argentine team as we have an experienced squad.
