South Africa announced today that it would no longer travel to Australia and the Rugby Championship 2020 has been replaced by the Tri-Nations series. The Tri-Nations rugby matches will happen in October, November, and December and December, and all matches will be played in Australia. See the Tri-Nations series schedule below.
Initially, the competition was postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but SANZAAR has confirmed that it will host a new six-week competition in Australia at the end of the year. Every game will be played in New South Wales with the exception of one game that will be held in Queensland.
On Saturday, all matches will be held, starting with the clash between Australia and New Zealand at the ANZ Stadium before the handover of Australia to Queensland.
The Tri-Nations will back to New South Wales, prior to the Argentina VS Wallabies match which will take place at Bankwest Stadium on 5 December 2020.
