The Six Nations organizers have confirmed the 2020 scheduled new dates for men’s and women’s tournaments.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, both events were suspended in March 2020, men’s competition completed 4 matches, while the women’s completed six games.

The men’s event will resume on 24 October 2020 with the match of Ireland VS Italy, which will take place at Aviva Stadium.

The final round of the tournament, which consists of all 6 teams will be held on 31st October 2020.

Scotland will compete with Wales the match venue is not confirmed yet, Italy will play with England at the Stadio Olimpico and Ireland VS France match will take place at the Stade de France.

England leads with 13 points and secures their place on the top of the standings in front of France on points difference.

On 24 October 2020, the women’s competition will recommence with the match of France vs Scotland and Italy VS Ireland.

Ireland play with France, Wales face Scotland and England compete against Italy on 31st October 2020.

The rest of the schedule matches between Scotland and Italy will begin on December 5, 2020.

In the women’s competition, England also leads with 8 points in front of France, who have a game in hand.

Six Nations authorities said that it is our main concern for taking care of players, staff, and supporters of health and safety in rescheduling the matches.

Chief Executive Officer Martyn Phillips confirmed that there will be no more international games will happen this year as it will be used as a temporary hospital through the COVID-19 pandemic and Wales will have to play their home matches outside the Principality Stadium.

World Rugby accepted a new provisional global window that permits the 6 Nations to be finished.

The 2020 men's Autumn Tests are set to be supplanted by an eight-group competition wherein the Six Nations sides will be joined by Japan and Fiji, which will start on 14 November.
