The Fiji National Rugby Union Team is one from the Oceania region near Australia. They started playing international rugby matches in 1924 against Samoa, won that match with a 6-0 score. Fiji rugby Fans nicknamed their team as Flying Fijians. The Fiji rugby team use palm tree in their logo. They embrace the biggest win against Niue rugby in Sep 1983, a score of 120–4.
Although the Fiji Rugby is top tier team they lost 3 matches out of 4 in last Rugby World Cup Pool Stage. They appeared in 7 World Cups out of a total of 8 RWC. The highest level they reached was Quarterfinals in the first RWC in 1987 and then 2007. Their current rank in World Rugby Rankings is 10th place, while they came to 8th last year. Fiji in 2015 Rugby World Cup won only against Uruguay with 47-15 score. They will start this year proceeding with a match against Australia in Pool D of Rugby World Cup 2019 at Sapporo Dome.

The Fiji Rugby union announced the squad a few days back for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. They did as per the World Rugby policy for announcing the squads a few days before mega-event. Fijian Rugby union has named Dominiko Waqaniburotu as Captain for the 2019 RWC with John McKee as their Head Coach. The NZ rugby former player Tabai Matson is on Backs Coach post and Neil Barnes is Forwards Coach. The expected Fiji team for all the 2019 Rugby World Cup matches will be from the given table.
