The France national rugby union team is a European region rugby team playing international matches since 1906. The Blues is the nickname of France Rugby team, having Gallic rooster in their logo. In the latest World Rugby Rankings, France is on 7th place improving one position from 8th after winning matches. The France Vs Argentina will be their first match of Rugby World Cup 2019 at Tokyo Stadium.
In the Rugby World Cup history, France has an exceptional track record in RWC. The France Rugby team came into the Finals three times but unluckily for them didn’t win any RWC. In the first edition of Rugby World Cup in 1987, France reaches into finals but lost. Again they became runners-up in 1999 and 2011 but luck didn’t favor them. Last time in 2015 Rugby World Cup they won 3 matches in Pool Stage and lost in Quarter-finals against New Zealand. It was a heavy defeat against NZ with a 62-13 score. The 2019 RWC will tell us the different story, maybe luck favor France this time.
